To Kari, our work is so much more than just analysis, it’s “storytelling: seeing the ‘so what’ of who the person is and how they will execute the scorecard, deliver the work.”
With an assessment career dating back to 2006, she has painted accurate, compelling verbal pictures for a large, diverse array of appreciative clients.
Highly curious and extremely analytical, Kari relishes the opportunity to collect and sort through a wealth of disparate data, finding both the critical few points that will encapsulate the narrative as well as the broader framework, each lending perspective to a person or organization in their/its totality. Her eagle eye for the most important details enables her to diagnose the synergies and the tensions needed to successfully build shared values and communal goals.
But a story is more than just the information it conveys: it is a style, an atmosphere, an experience. Committing to the “how” as much as the “what,” she employs thoughtful candor to land messages with the toughest audiences, whether uniting two very different banks under a productive merged culture or getting the revised mission, vision, and values just right for the extremely particular head of a major NYC cultural institution.
In her off time, she is with her family outdoors, taking solace in the garden – pulling weeds and trimming branches (even if she hasn’t yet figured out why friends find it so amusing that she mows her own lawn).
